- Rescheduling by Ta-Lungs Driving School: Ta-Lungs Driving School reserves the right to reschedule driver training by providing the client with 12 working hours’ notice.
- Test Booking Priority: Driver test bookings take priority over regular driver training bookings. Your scheduled lesson might need to be moved if another client books a test in your timeslot. We appreciate your cooperation.

8. Driver Training (General)
- Learner's License: You must have your valid learner's license in your possession during all driver training sessions. - Safety Measures: Our training vehicles are fitted with dual controls (instructor-side clutch and brake) for safety.
- Punctuality: The onus is on the client to approach the instructor upon their arrival for the lesson. Any time lost due to the client approaching the instructor later than the scheduled starting time will be forfeited.
- Conduct: If a client is under the influence of any substance, uses inappropriate language, is abusive, or harasses the instructor in any manner, the instructor reserves the right to stop the driver training immediately, and the client will forfeit the remainder of the lesson.
- Progress Reports: Progress reports can be requested in writing by contacting the booking agent.
- Weekly Training: It is recommended that a minimum of 3 hours with a maximum of 5 hours of training be conducted on a weekly basis.
- Practice Yard Facilities: Usage of our practice yard facilities in Parow Valley is included in the lesson price. For lessons conducted outside a 10 km radius of our offices at 1 Duncan Street, Parow Valley, other facilities may be utilized, for which the client will be liable. Please consult your instructor for various options.
- Quality Control: As a quality control measure, our senior instructor may, at any time, sit in during a lesson to assess your appointed instructor.
- Instructor Complaints: Any complaints regarding driver training or instructors must be directed exclusively to the office personnel.
9. Usage of Own Vehicle
- First Lesson: Your first lesson must be conducted in Ta-Lungs Driving School's training vehicle.
- Fees: Should you wish to use your own vehicle for subsequent driver training, the full lesson fee will still apply.
- Indemnity: The owner of the vehicle must complete an indemnity form that indemnifies and releases Ta-Lungs Driving School from any liability for damages to the vehicle, injury, or loss of life during training.
- Roadworthiness: Your vehicle will be subjected to a roadworthy inspection prior to training.
- Novice Learners: As a safety measure, novice learners will initially conduct driver training in a Ta-Lungs Driving School training vehicle until the instructor grants permission for training to be conducted in the client’s own vehicle.
